Biographies

Tom Adams’ (co-book, music) most recent production, Henry and Hyde, was featured at this summer’s International Cringe Festival, Off-Broadway. Henry and Hyde was also included in the 2008 Short & Sweet + Song Festival in Sydney, Australia. His musical, Tevye, (written with JM Eisenman) premiered in a studio production at the Stages 20005 Festival of New Musicals at Theatre Building Chicago. Facade (written with MK Wolfe) was in the Stages 2001 Festival. His musical On The Brink (written with John Sparks, adapted from “On Borrowed Time”) was seen at Theatre Building Chicago. Tom is a member of the Academy of New Musical Theatre in Los Angeles (formerly Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop). Additionally, Tom has written numerous pop, country and rhythm & blues songs. His song "Sea of Change" (written with JM Eisenman) was recorded by artist Ronee Martin and won awards in the Billboard Magazine Songwriting Contest and the “Heal L.A.” Songwriting Contest. Contact him at tadams850@verizon.net.

MK Wolfe (co-book, lyrics) has written several musicals, including The Christmas Bride (book; with Noel Katz) which received productions at the Third Step Theatre in New York and at Foy Concert Hall in Bethlehem, PA; George Q (book & lyrics; with Darryl Curry) which was seen at New York’s Theatre @ St. Clements; The Freaks Club (co-book & lyrics; with Tom Adams) which premiered at Theatre Building Chicago and was also workshopped at The Blank Theatre in Hollywood; Mesmerized (lyrics) which was seen at the Women’s Club of Hollywood; and The Sock Who Lost His Mate, also with composer Tom Adams, which received a workshop production at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. Her short musical Sin is In was part of NJ Repertory’s Theatre Brut Festival. MK is also the author of numerous plays: Onlyman (co-author), Great X-ing, The Persons’ Court, The Creche, Climbing Everest and A Maid of Honor, all of which have been produced in New York and Los Angeles. She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a member of the Dramatists’ Guild and the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights. Visit her website at www.mkwolfe.com.

Al D’Andrea (director) is a stage director, writer, actor and attorney. He has directed scores of productions, workshops and readings of original and classic theatre works in Los Angeles, New York, regionally and internationally. He is the former Artistic Director of the Third Step Theatre Company, a collective of theatre artists devoted to new play development and production, active in New York during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Al has most recently written the book to the new musical Mesmerized, the story of Anton Mesmer and his cure of the blind prodigy pianist Maria Theresa Paradies in 1777 Vienna. As an actor, Al's TV credits include N.Y.P.D.
